Vascular Surgery

A vascular surgeon is a medical doctor who specializes in diagnosing and treating diseases of the arteries, veins, and lymphatic system. They manage conditions that affect blood flow throughout the body, including blockages, aneurysms, clots, and chronic venous disorders. Vascular surgeons use a combination of medical therapy, minimally invasive endovascular procedures, and open surgical techniques to restore circulation, prevent complications, and preserve limb function. Their work spans elective and emergency care, often in collaboration with cardiologists, interventional radiologists, and primary care physicians.
