Urogynecology

A urogynecologist is a medical doctor who focuses on diagnosing and treating pelvic floor disorders in women. These conditions involve the bladder, uterus, vagina, pelvic support structures, and surrounding muscles and nerves. Urogynecologists evaluate complex symptoms such as urinary leakage, pelvic pressure, prolapse, and pelvic pain, using advanced diagnostic testing and both non‑surgical and surgical treatments. Their goal is to restore pelvic function, improve quality of life, and provide individualized care through a combination of pelvic floor therapy, medications, minimally invasive procedures, and reconstructive surgery.
